These days the color PINK symbolizes more then classic femininity… today PINK is the iconic war cry of The Cure for Breast Cancer movement. Since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and nonprofitshoppingmall.com is featuring Susan G. Komen for the Cure ®, we thought it would be fun and fitting to put together a totally ‘pinktastic’ shopping guide to get you Thinking Pink! We’ve highlighted girly-pink finds from several of our top 40 retailers — some of which have internal cause marketing strategies and are already giving to groups like The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The Breast Cancer Fund and Susan G. Komen for The Cure. By shopping through nonprofitshoppingmall.com, you can double up on your giving as we’ve selected Susan G. Komen for the Cure ® as our default nonprofit for the month of October.

Now, prepare to be tickled pink…

Let’s roll out the pink carpet for this classic set… the Coach Leather Sabrina at $358.00 and the Stuart Weitzman ‘Max’ Peep Toe Pump at the discounted price of $157.90. These are the perfect pink accessories for the lady who loves having her breakfast at Tiffany’s. Enjoy shopping even more knowing that a percentage of this splurge will go to Susan G. In the make-up department I’ve found some pinks that will really show your passion. Pop’s Lid Neon kit contains six eye-shades with a pink that really POPs! ($22.00). Or if smiling is your thing — try it in 3D!!! Effect 3D Cosmic Lipgloss by Bourjois for $15.50 — that’s Pink — times 3!!!!

Retailer Showcase - Apparel

Posted on February 8th, 2008 by Corine in aeropostale, boden, piperlime, urban outfitters

Because we base our retailer choices on factors other than just brand recognition - we’d like to introduce you to our newest retailers and give you just a little more insight as to why we’ve added them to our growing family of merchants. This time around, we’re highlighting some of the brightest stars in the apparel industry…

What can we say about Boden? We think their eco-friendly scrumptious, soft-as-a-feather baby wear will soothe any infant! Their men and women’s lines are splendid, too, with a subtle European flair that sets this line apart. All Boden clothing and footwear is exclusively designed in London, England and provides a conservative yet contemporary look for trendsetters internationally. We especially like their cool separates!

You’ll be amazed at the vibrancy and energy of all Piperlime products. Their shoes virtually jump off their homepage! Piperlime, a division of Gap, Inc., is a new online shoe shop, offering a handpicked selection of the world’s best footwear brands for women, men and kids. Piperlime’s assortment of more than 100 amazing footwear brands features the hottest styles and designers. Ranging from sassy flats to glamorous stilettos that will have all eyes on you…this website and its products bring a whole new meaning to the term “shoe addicts” everywhere!

If you are shopping for a 14-17 year old you can’t do better than Aéropostale! This specialty retailer of casual apparel and accessories principally targeting teens offers a selection of high-quality, active-oriented fashion. Their knits are available in multiple colors ranging from Black to Pineapple to Bleach and are great for a day at the boardwalk or a day in class. Aéropostale takes athletic trend basics and turns up the volume with colors! We love them!

We also love their Teens For Jeans program in conjunction with Do Something - a youth oriented organization that encourages volunteerism and strongly believes that young people have the power to make a difference and change the world. Their aim is to inspire, support and celebrate a generation of do-ers: people who see the need to do something, believe in their ability to get it done, and then take action.

Where else can you find the perfect bedroom pillow, the edgiest jeans and hottest accessories that scream urban chic?! The reason for their success? The brand is both compelling and distinctive. The emphasis is on creativity. The products are fun and inspiring with great prints that are delicate with a twist. They have an underground style that takes trend setting to a new level. Their goal is to offer a product assortment and an environment so compelling and distinctive that the customer feels an empathetic connection to the brand and is persuaded to buy. We certainly do!
